Lies, Prevarications, and Obfuscations — The Emperor has No Clothes
The President, dictator-in-chief, today deigned to issue his fiat that people, who like their healthcare plans can keep their healthcare plans for another year. After listening to the President’s press conference followed by the sycophantic press pool’s (Major Garrett excepted) Q&A, if there are any Obamabots yet out there who actually believe that this man knows what he’s speaking about, please raise your hands, or email this blogger.
According to his Highness, the healthcare.gov website would not have gone live October 1st, had he been aware of its problems and technical glitches. Secretary Sebelius now has the privilege of wearing tire marks from that bus that just rolled over her. Just exactly what did he know and when did he know it. Could the President whose signature piece of legislation which bears his name, be that disdainful of the American public to not personally pay more attention to the roll-out of said legislation.
“Buying health insurance is never going to be like buying a song on iTunes,” Obama said.
Tell that to millions of Americans who have been impacted by this travesty and massive fraud and are losing their insurance plans, Mr. President. Or, the millions who are experiencing exponential increases in insurance premiums, and paying for coverage they don’t need or want.
But let’s face it, the only reason our Prevaricator-in-Chief, delivered his mea culpa speech today was because he had to deal with the internal revolt of members of his own party, especially those facing re-election, not to mention the incompetence of his Administration, as well as the overt bombshell/lifeboat statement of former President Bill Clinton.
Whether Benghazi, the IRS targeting of Conservative/Tea Party members, the NSA scandal, Syria, Iran and now the Obamacare debacle, we are witnessing an Administration out of control.
Today, we witnessed a President who was 35 minutes late for his own press conference to address the catastrophe of Obamacare. He and his advisers most likely trying to determine how to spin and do damage control. As a result of his latest pronouncement, we learn insurance companies are trying to determine how to address the latest Presidential fiat of letting people continue policies that were already cancelled.
“We fumbled the rollout”. Yes, Mr. President. And you completely fumbled your Presidency. History will be your judge.
