Morning Musings for Wednesday, March 28, 2012

Snippets, tidbits and commentary on issues and current events I couldn’t pass up.

  • This is the reason why the Republican candidates for President can’t run on the economy alone, Poll: Obama on a ‘roll’ in 3 swing states.  And another reason why this internecine primary feud has to stop, so that one nominee can concentrate and focus on Barack Obama.
  • Mea culpa.  I can be wrong.  I’m impassioned about this race as much as the person reading my blog, and got swept up in the Etch-a-Sketch comment by Eric Ferhnstrom, calling for his dismissal from the Romney camp.  But Alex Castellanos has it right, Hitting reset on the 2012 race.  And, if that means the Dems are worried, all the better.
  • Federal Government = ATM for millions of Americans.  Republicans are causing a moral crisis in America, according to Washington Post columnist, Katrina van den Heuvel.  And I thought, what we were trying to do is spur the economy to help more people find jobs and learn to be self-reliant, instead of remaining on the federal dole.
  • Great minds think alike.  Juan Williams, The Trayvon Martin Tragedies and moi, The Silent Tragedy behind Trayvon Martin.

Enjoy your coffee.
